John P. McGovern Museum of Health and Medical Science

The John P. McGovern Museum of Health and Medical Science, commonly known as The Health Museum, is a science center located in the Museum District of Houston, Texas. It serves as a member institution of the Texas Medical Center and focuses on health education, medical science, and the biological functions of the human body through interactive exhibits.

Established in 1996, the museum is designed to provide hands-on learning experiences for visitors of all ages. It features permanent installations such as the Amazing Body Pavilion, which includes large-scale anatomical models, and hosts rotating exhibitions that address public health topics, medical history, and advancements in biomedical research.
