Trip Planning

Create, organize, and manage your travel adventures with ease.

Your Travel Hub

The Trips section is your central hub for organizing all your travel plans. Whether it's a weekend getaway or a month-long adventure, you can create detailed trips with destinations, dates, and itineraries.

Creating a New Trip

  1. Navigate to the Trips page and click "New Trip"
  2. Enter your trip name, destination, and description
  3. Set your start and end dates using the date picker
  4. Optionally upload a cover image for your trip
  5. Click "Create Trip" to save

Editing Trips

  • Quick Edit: Click the menu icon on any trip card and select "Edit" to modify details.
  • Full Editor: Open a trip to access the full editing view with all options.
  • Cover Images: Update your trip's cover photo anytime from the edit screen.

Trip Timeline

  • Upcoming Trips: Filter to see trips that haven't started yet.
  • Past Trips: View your completed adventures and memories.
  • All Trips: See your complete travel history in one place.

Sharing with Friends

  • Invite Friends: Add friends to your trip by sharing with their username.
  • Shared Trips: Trips shared with you appear in your trips list with a special indicator.
  • Collaborate: Shared members can view trip details and itineraries.

Exporting & Sharing

  • Share Link: Generate a shareable link for your trip so others can view it.
  • PDF Itinerary Export: Subscribing to Vestigia+ allows you to export your entire trip itinerary as a beautifully formatted PDF document for offline access.

Archiving & Deleting Trips

  • Archiving: If you are reaching your active trip limit but don't want to delete a trip, you can archive it. Archived trips are read-only and do not count toward your active trip limit.
  • Deleting: Deleted trips are soft-deleted and can be recovered within 30 days by contacting support.

Free Tier Limits & Vestigia+

  • Trip Limit: Free accounts are capped at 3 active (non-archived, non-deleted) trips at any time.
  • Unlock Unlimited: Upgrade to Vestigia+ to create unlimited active trips, plan as many itineraries as you like, and enable PDF exports.

Use the search bar on the Trips page to quickly find any trip by name or destination.
