Friends & Social

Finding Friends

• Search by Username: Enter a friend's username in the search bar to find them.
• Search by Name: Search for users by their display name.
• View Profiles: Click on a user to view their public profile before adding them.

Sending Friend Requests

1. Go to the Friends page
2. Switch to the "Search" tab
3. Search for the user you want to add
4. Click the "Add Friend" button
5. Wait for them to accept your request

Managing Requests

• Incoming Requests: View and respond to friend requests in the "Requests" tab.
• Accept: Click the check icon to accept a friend request.
• Decline: Click the X icon to decline a request.
• Sent Requests: View pending requests you've sent in the "Sent" tab.

Viewing Friend Profiles

• Quick View: Click the eye icon to view a friend's profile.
• See Their Travels: View friends' visited countries and achievements (if they've allowed it).
• Trip Sharing: Friends can share trips with you for collaborative planning.

Removing Friends

To remove a friend, go to your Friends list, click on the friend's entry, and select the remove option. They won't be notified, but you'll no longer see each other's private content.
